Carrie Lover Conway

Criminal Justice Programming Coordinator

Carrie began working for Strafford County in 2002.  She currently works as the Criminal Justice Programming Coordinator overseeing Drug Court, Mental  Health Court, Habitual Offender Academy, Transitional Housing , and supervising Community Corrections such as pre and post trial bail release programs.  Carrie  also oversees Grants for such programs as the Supervised Visitation Center and the Family Justice Center.  Carrie also collaborates with the COAST Bus to assist in county transportation efforts. Carrie graduated from Plymouth State College with a Bachelors of Science  degree in Social Work in 1997 and The University of New England in 1999 where she obtained  her Masters Degree in Social Work.  Carrie is also a Certified Correctional Officer and Certified Public Manager.

Office Manager

Denise, also known as “Red”, has worked in many facets of the judicial system, starting with dispatching for the Rochester Police and Fire Departments and the Strafford County Sheriff’s Office.  Denise continued her career growth by becoming a Legal Assistant with the Strafford County Attorney’s office in the Domestic Violence division, and finally moving to the Community Corrections team in March of 2006.  Denise  received her Associates Degree in Business Science from Hesser College and received her Certified Public Manager certification in June 2017.  She was promoted to Office Manager in June 2008 and has been awarded the 2007, 2012, 2013  and 2016 Department of Corrections Employee of the Year—Community Corrections Administrative.

Administrative Assistant

Ashley started working for Community Correction in January, 2017. Currently taking classes, part time at Great Bay Community College. Also dually enrolled with UNH to pursue a higher degree in Justice Studies and, or Psychology. Worked in the hospitality industry for six years and managed a hotel for three of those years. Now looking to start a career in the criminal justice field.

Community Supervision Director & Employablility Director

Will Britton began his carreer with Strafford County in 2004 as a Correctional Officer for the Department of Corrections. He joined the staff at Community Corrections in 2008 and has received the Community Corrections Employee of the Year Award in 2008 and 2009.  Will is an honored veteran having served in the United States Air Force for five years.  Will currently supervises Employability program clients, and conducts assessments on any potential new clients for the community supervision programming.

Community Supervision Sr. Case Manager

Officer Forcier graduated from the NH Correctional Academy in 2005 and has been employed in Strafford County for  10 years.  He started his career  at the  Strafford  County Jail in 2004.  Jon joined  the Community Corrections team in 2011  as a Pretrial Case  Manager .  Jon also supervises Diversion  clients and functions as our TAC Operator for the State Police Online Telecommunications  System.

Emma Paciulli

 Emma Paciulli

Community Supervision Case Manager

Emma received her Bachelors of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from Lasell College in 2016.  She joined the Community Corrections team as the receptionist upon graduation.  Emma interned at Partakers College Behind Bars in 2015 and 2016, organizing and learning about programs for the incarcerated.  She is interested in understanding more about rehabilitation and available resources in the Criminal Justice setting through more education and continued work in Strafford County.

Community Supervision Mental Health Sr. Case Manager

Erin Guyotte received her Bachelors of Science degree with a major in Criminal Justice in 2006 from Granite State College.  In 2007, she started working at the New Hampshire Department of Corrections as a Correctional Counselor/Case Manager.  She worked at NHDOC as a Case Manager until 2004.  Her first four years were working at all four state prisons in a family support program for inmates and their families.  The last three years at NHDOC she worked at Exeter Probation/Parole assisting offenders in case management needs.  At the beginning of 2014 she started working at Strafford County DOC as a Mental Health Case Manager.  In March 2015 Erin joined the Community Corrections team as their Mental Health Case Manager.

Community Supervision Mental Health Case Manager

Heather worked as a case manager in the Women’s Transitional Housing Program. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Psychology from Granite State College in June of 2012. Prior to coming to the Strafford County Transitional Housing Program, she worked as a case manager at the Homeless Center for Strafford County. Heather’s professional experience also includes 11 years at Riverside Rest Home as a Licensed Nursing Assistant. Heather graduated last fall from the 94th Corrections Academy.

 Christopher Gowell

 Drug Court Director

Chris Gowell, BS, CO is the Director for Strafford County's Drug Treatment Court.  He has also worked as a Re-Entry Specialist, a Case Manager for Mental Health supervision, and a Case Manager for the Strafford County Drug Treatment Court.  He graduated from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC with a  Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice.  He has previous experience with Strafford County's Mental Health Court program acting as the liaison between the Community Behavioral Health Center and the Mental Health Court.  He graduated as the Honor Gradudate for the 2012 NH Association of Counties 90th County Corrections Academy.  He has been working in the Mental Health and Criminal Justice fields for over ten years.

Drug Court Sr. Case Manager

 Jamie graduated from  Florida State University  with a dual Bachelor  of Science  Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice.  She began career in specialty courts as the Adult Supervision Case Manager in Androscoggin County for Maine Pretrial Services.   In 2008, Jamie became a Case Manager for the Strafford County Drug Court.  in 2010, she was promoted to Senior Case Manager.  in 2012, she attended and graduated from the Corrections Academy and maintains her certification as a Corrections Officer.  Jamie is proud to be part of the Drug Court team in such a supportive and innovative county.

 Amanda Vachon

Drug Court Case Manager

Amanda Vachon is a Case Manager for the Drug Court Supervision program. She is a recent graduate from Southern New Hampshire University, completing the Master’s Degree program in Community Mental Health and Counseling. The degree program had a focus on substance abuse and mental health dual diagnoses and has been instrumental in the successful case management of that population.

Re-Entry Clinician, and Transitional Housing Program Director

Tom works as the Director of the Transitional Housing Program as well as a Re-entry Specialist for Strafford County Community Corrections. He worked for many years in the manufacturing materials management field before making a career change and returning to school to earn his MS degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from New England College. During the course of study for his Master’s Degree he worked as an intern for the Strafford County Drug Court Program. He also holds a J.D. from New England Law and received his B.A. from Clark University.

Transitional Housing Case Manager

Kasey works as a case manager in the Women’s Transitional Housing program. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Granite State College, in 2017. She is currently a Graduate student at Southern New Hampshire University majoring in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Kasey graduated from the 101st CO academy with the academic achievement award. She enjoys helping people with the reentry process and has a niche for working with those who have the disease of addiction.

Transitional Housing Case Manager

Adam is a Case Manager for Men’s Transitional Housing.  He graduated from the 98th County Corrections Academy.  Adam is from Rochester and graduated from Spaulding High School in 2001.  Adam enjoys the gym, drawing comics and detailing cars.   He paintballing and hikes and likes to spend time with his wife, children, and dogs, Sadie and Bentley.

Alyssa Rainey

Transitional Housing Case Manager

Alyssa is a Case Manager for Women’s Transitional Housing. She is currently working towards her Bachelors of Arts at the University of New Hampshire in Political Science. She is Nationally Certified EMT and her background is in Social Services and Law Enforcement. She will be attending the 109th County Corrections Academy at the end of the summer of 2018.

Moses Nyumah

Transitional Housing Case Manager

Moses began working at Strafford County in 2016 as a Corrections Officer at the Strafford County Department of Corrections. In 2018 he joined Community Corrections as a Case Manager for Men’s Transitional Housing. He is graduating with his Bachelor’s in Paralegal Studies in May, 2018 with a long term goal of obtaining a law degree. His previous work experience includes working in group homes as he has a passion for helping people.
