NOTICE is hereby given that a Public Meeting of the Strafford County Legislative Delegation is scheduled to be held Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., with a snow date of Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in Superior Courtroom I, Second Floor of the William A. Grimes Justice and Administration Building, 259 County Farm Road, Dover, New Hampshire, to conduct the following business:
• Discuss and Nominate Candidate for the Strafford County Pease Development Authority Representative Position: Candidate Currently in Holdover Status: Stephen Fournier
• Vote to Submit Approved Nominee to the Governor, Speaker of the House, and President of the Senate for Confirmation
• Current Term Shall be for 3 Years and Until His or Her Successor Shall Have Been Appointed
• Introduce Candidate to Serve Out Remainder of Strafford County Sheriff’s Term
• Introductory Speech by Candidate
• Question and Answer Period
• Open Vote for New Strafford County Sheriff
• Announce New Strafford County Sheriff
• Receive Recommendations of the General Government Subcommittee on Commissioners’ 2024 Proposed Budget
• Receive Recommendations of the Delegation Executive Committee on Commissioners’ 2024 Proposed Budget
• Vote on Acceptance of the Amount to be Raised by Taxes on the Strafford County 2024 Budget
• Approve Minutes of December 20, 2023, and January 31, 2024 Public Hearing and Meetings
• Discuss and Vote on the 2025-2026 Elected Officials Salaries
• Any Other Business Which May Legally Come Before the Delegation
