```Duties```
***You will be working in a Correctional Facility preparing food for inmates and staff.***
Prepare and cook meals according to the provided menu and dietary guidelines.
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner.
- Collaborate with the dietary department to plan and execute menu items.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment.
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures.
- Assist in meal preparation for special events or dietary restrictions.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations.
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role within the food industry.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
