Sweet little Flower came to the shelter as a stray after being abandoned and severely neglected. She has faced a life of hardship, leaving her covered in scabs, suffering from hair loss and inflamed skin. But perhaps the most painful affliction is her infected ear, which requires a specialized procedure called Total Ear Canal Ablation (TECA) for her to live a comfortable, healthy, and happy life.
TECA is a complex surgery meant to manage severe ear disease in dogs. It involves the removal of the diseased and infected ear canal while preserving the inner ear, allowing Flower to hear. The procedure requires a specific doctor with advanced expertise, making it a crucial step in Flower's journey towards recovery. In addition to her ear issues, Flower also has a challenging skin condition that demands ongoing veterinary care and lifelong maintenance.
Despite her painful past, Flower found hope when she was taken into foster care by a PMHS-CV staff member. There, she discovered love and affection from the humans around her. Flower loves playing with toys and running around the yard with her newfound doggy friends. It's been a glimpse of the happiness and comfort that awaits her after her road to recovery!
To support Flower's journey, we've created t-shirts to raise funds for her medical needs and procedures, giving her a chance at a better and pain-free life. Each shirt sold contributes to Flower's surgery. Please purchase a t-shirt, make a donation and help Flower get the love and care she needs to blossom into the beautiful, joyful dog she was meant to be!
