STRAFFORD COUNTY REPRESENTATIVE TO
PEASE DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY BOARD
The Strafford County Delegation and State Senators are seeking candidates to serve on the Pease Development Authority (PDA) Board as the Strafford County Representative for the June 1, 2020 to May 31, 2023 term. The PDA Board deals with numerous issues, including, but not limited to: land and real estate management, development of Pease, attracting quality companies, providing jobs, taxation concerns, and housing and education for children of employees working at the businesses located at Pease.
The Strafford County Representative provides a sense of security for Strafford County businesses and communities, to balance any perception of a development advantage for Pease. The need for a continuation of the cooperation between Pease and the cities and towns of Strafford County is an issue of priority for the Strafford County representative.
Applicants must be a Strafford County resident and cannot currently hold an elected office. The position requires a significant time commitment without remuneration.
