Community Corrections Program

Strafford County is a leader in Community Corrections through its many innovative programs; including Pretrial Release, Pretrial Diversion, Drug Court, Mental Health Court, Habitual Offender Program, Transitional Housing Program, Administrative Home Confinement, The Step Down Program, and the Community Work Program.  We are committed to working within the Criminal Justice System to create a safer community.We provide the courts with accurate information and offer viable cost effective pretrial and sentencing options through a balance of enforcement and treatment strategies, while holding offenders accountable and affording them the opportunity to become productive law-abiding citizens.
